Out of Breath

You had joined the StrawHat pirates during their adventure at your home, Fishman Island. You were king Neptunes best solider, but left when Luffy asked you to join his crew. You and Shirahoshi were best friends since you became a solider, you two actually shared a room. When she heard you were leaving she was devastated. You had promised her that you would visit her as soon as possible and gave her a transponder snail so she could talk to you when ever she wanted. Right before you left, Nami insisted that she took you shopping since you had a set of pj’s and the uniforms that the king gave you. You quickly learned nami loved money. You, now, normally wear a (f/c) bikini top to match your (f/c) and (2nd/f/c) tail with your hair down and curly. Ever since you joined Luffy has been like your older brother, protecting you, messing around with you, stuff like that. He was also very protective of you, even around the crew.
It was a day like any other, Nami and Robin were sunbathing, Sanji was making food for the three girls on board, Franky and Usopp were doing who knows what in their workshops, Choper was reading medical books, Brook was playing music, Zoro was sleeping, and you and Luffy were playing tag. Everything was calm…Kinda’.
“(y/n)!! You’ll never catch me!!” Luffy called out to you.
“Really?! You think your faster then me?!” You yelled back, chasing him around the deck in your floating bubble ring (the thing Caimie used on Fishman Island). You were on his tail, but matched speed and couldn’t get any closer. You used your haki to get in-front of him. He bumped into you and fell over. You bent over and poked his nose.
“Got you.” You smiled and took off again, now with him following you. This carried on for about a hour and a half.
“(Y/N)-CHWANN~!!” Sanji called out to you. You ‘ran’ into his chest, causing both of you to fall over, you on top of him.
“Yes Sanji?” You asked happily. He had hearts in his eyes, and blood driping from hin nose. This was normal.
“T-There’s food…kitchen.” He said in a daze. You were lifted up, and thrown over that persond shoulder. This caused your bubble to pop and you to squeek.
“Get up, shitty cook. And stop fantasizing about (y/n).” A voice you recognized as Zoro’s said.
“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY MARIMO?!” Sanji yelled, fire enveloping fis form.
“You heard me.” He then walked away.
“Zoro~!” You whined “I wanted foooddd!!” You squirmed on his shoulder.
“ZORO! PUT (Y/N) DOWN!!” Luffy yelled and glared at Zoro.
“LUFFY!!” You reached your arms out to him with a smile on your face. He shot his arms out and grabed you, pulling out of Zoro’s grasp. The two of you then ran to the kitchen, well Luffy ran while carring you. When you got there Sanji was cooking.
“SANJI! MEAT!” You both yelled.
“Okay, just give me a minute (n/n).” Luffy sat you down at the bar, then sat next to you.
“Meat! Meat! Meat! Meat!” You two sang.

~With Zoro~

Zoro was laying against the mast of the ship, just dozing off.
“ZORO!” Nami yelled, jolting him awake.
“What?”
“Tell her.” This made Zoro pause momentarily.
“I don’t know what your talking about.”
“Tell (y/n) you like her. It’s obvious she likes you too, so just do it.” This made the man blush a little. He looked away not saying anything.
“If you don’t tell her, sho help me-” Before Nami could finish her threat, cannons were fired at the Sunny.
“Guys! Pirates off the bow! I think some are Fish men!” Usopp yelled. You, Luffy, and Sanji came out of the kitchen. You three saw that the rest of the crew was already out.
“Common’ guys!” Luffy said to Zoro and Sanji. They jumped from the Sunny to the enemy’s ship, taking the ones on deck out. While Zoro was distracted, though, one of the enemy’s put a really heavy weight around his ankle and threw it over board, causing him to go down with it.
You were on deck watching as Luffy and Sanji jumped back to where you were.
“Where’s Zoro?!” You asked looking around. You heard bubbles and looked down, seeing Zoro sinking.
“SHOT!” You quickly jumped over board and swam to him. When you got to him, the fish men that were on board, grabbed you and pulled you back while the others pulled Zoro further down. You saw how his eyes turned white and the last of his air left his lungs. You kept struggling and punched the two that were holding you into tomorrow. You swam to Zoro and knocked out the other two fish men. Zoro was still sinking. You didn’t have your bubble coral and you started to panic.
“What do I do?” You half screamed. You took his face into your hands and smashed your lips onto his, letting air pass your lips to his lungs. His eyes got their dark green color again, and after you thought he got enough air, you pulled away.
“Sorry Zoro, that was all I could do.” You whispered to him. You swam to where the chain connected to his foot, and broke it in two, like it wasn’t more then paper. You looked at his face again and he pulled you closer, smashing his lips onto yours again. Your eyes widdened.
I guess he needed more air. You though, kissing him back briefly. You pulled back and sawm to the surface to see the worried looks of your crew.
“No worries guys! Were okay!” You called, with a slight blush as Zoro hugged you closer.
He’s probably just warn out from almost drowning, thats why he’s hugging me. That’s the only reason. He can’t like me…right? You though again, bushing some more.
“ZORO! LET GO OF (Y/N) RIGHT NOW!!” Sanji and Luffy yelled.
“Luffy, calm down. He’s-” Before you could finish what you were saying Zoro cut you off.
“Shut up. I can do what ever I want.” This caused you to blush even more as the arm wrapped around your waist tightened. Chopper threw you two a rope, and Franky pulled you two on deck. Chopper went and checked on you two.
“(n/n) for some reason, you’re really cold. Zoro take her and giver her a bath to warm her up.” Chopper said. This caused both of you to blush.
“Okay.” Zoro picked you up and carried you, bridal style, to the bathroom area. The tub was big enough for at least four people. Once he put you down, you heard Luffy and Sanji yell at chopper.
“I’ll start the water, what sent do you want?” You looked over at him with a innocent look that made him blush and pause for a minute. You then looked at the (f/s) bath bomb. He snickered at you and sarted the water, putting the rest of the bath bombs away. Once the bath was full, and the bath bomb was placed into the water, Zoro picked you up and placed you in the bath.
“I’ll be right back. Take off your shirt so you can get clean.” You nodded your head and took off your shirt. You weren’t really ‘nervous’, per-say, about these things. Zoro left and came back in a towel. He got in behind you and washed your hair. You smiled at the feeling, and pulled your tail closer to you, resting your chin where your knees would be.
Once the two of you were clean, you leaned back into his chest.
“Thanks…You’re the best.” You said with your eyes closed, missing the red that adorned his cheeks again.
“No problem.” He wraped his arms around your waist, brefily feeling the scales that were their.
“Love you.” You said quietly. Zoro froze when he heard this.
“You…love me?” You nodded your head, and cuddled into him more. Not really knowing you were confessing to him.
“Love you too.” He then tilted your face to look at him and kissed you. You kissed back. He licked your bottom lip, discovering that it was sort of scaly but still soft. You two made out for a minute or five. When you pulled back you smiled at him. He looked at you for a second, then smiled back. It was the most beautiful smile you had ever seen. After a little longer in the bath, you two got out and dried off. Once you had a new shirt on, creating another bubble for your self, and Zoro was fully clothed, Zoro put you on your back popping your bubble.
“HEY~!” You whined “I don’t have unlimited bubbles! Don’t go around poping them!”
“If it means I can carry you, then I’m throwing that bubble maker over board.” He smirked as you pulled the coral closer. He walked out and over to a spot on deck to nap. He ploped down and put you in his lap, using your boobs as a pillow.
“THAT’S NOT A PILLOW! And let me go! I wanna’ play with Luffy!” You whined again. He just shook him head ‘no’ and tightened his hold on you. You crossed your arms, but soon gave in, wrapping them around his torso and wrapping your tail around one of his thighs.
“G’nigh.” You said.
“It’s not night, but night.” He gave you a quick kiss, put his head back where it was, and fell asleep with you.

~Extended Ending~

“Here you go.” Nami said as she gave Choppper his books back, along with some money.
“Thank you, Nami!” Chopper the walked back to his medical room.
“So you bribed Doctor-san to give (y/n) and Zoro a fake report of (y/n)’s health, just to get them together?” Robin chuckled.
“Yup!”
“NAMI?!” Luffy cried “WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! NOW I DON’T HAVE A PLAY BUDDY!! (n/n) is to buzzy cuddling marimo!” He pouted at the end. Nami brightened up and pulled Robin over to where you and Zoro were sleeping.
“Look at how cute they!” Nami squealed. Zoro opened his one good eye, and glared at the two.
“Shut it. You’re going to wake her up.” Zoro said grumpily. He moved you so you were now curled up on his chest with his head atop yours. Robin pulled Nami away from you two. Zoro smiled down at you.
“Glad your mine. I’m never letting you go.” He said in a soft voice.
“That’s good, neither am I.” You said to him. You felt him stiffen beneath you, then chuckle.
“Good.” You both then fell asleep in each others embrace.
