What if you move on without me?
Barbosa doesn't really remember where she came from or who her parents were. She only ever gets ghosts in her dreams and they always have shrouded faces. But she can still remember what they smell like. And they smell like love, home, and safety.
You can take this song either way whether it is Rozza singing to Barbosa or the other way around. I feel like it could fit either way.
Post script: Once upon a time I believe this song would have fit so much more for my older characters. And I can't explain how much Centaurworld's songs in season 1 really hit me and brought me back to so many of my old-school story moods.
I think there are just too many layers to this onion for me to get into haha! But I really enjoy getting to draw Rozza again and I love to put her in the shadows around Barbosa, she has always meant a lot to me now more than ever. And it is so strange now, the world feels a lot more lonely to me when not many people know the weight of some of my older cast.
