Another pic I did for my dad, this time I mailed it to him. I think it makes more of an impression than e-mail. He seemed to like it ^^ Sorry about the no background. It's a little tougher to come up with a bg with traditional media. Specially since I was afraid of messing it up x.x;Um, done by water color and colored pencils. The water color basically gives it the base color, it doesn't really show up, but, it makes the difference.
I also drew Sheik, Malon, and Navi along with this Link, but the coloring took too long, so I decided to keep it to just one. I'll probably color the other ones by computer.
I like how the coloring came out ^^ I almost used up all my pencils just for this, but I like it (I sharpen them a lot...What? I like the pencils pointy... ^ ^; ).

Cool. Combining watercolours and coloured pencils isn't something that I would have thought of, but it seems to have worked out very well.

if u dont want them to dull, get the crayola twistables, it makes a big diffrence

^_^ oh, this is such an awesome chibi renderation of link! Do you mind if I save it for reference? I plan to make a Zelda doujinshi in the future, and this style has a few great points of inspiration for what I'm thinking of doing. ^^

Somthing about the proportions of your Link just seem so right. I've always been a fan of the big boots, big hands stuff and it just works so well with Link. I've always thought of him like this, how he was portrayed in Wind Waker, more of a Kid having this 'great protector' role thrust on him.
The colouring is also utterly fantastic, so vibrant. Water colour is a dream to work with at times
