Both are two ordinary blond haired teenage boys who live in not so ordinary worlds (Land of Ooo and Nowhere Islands). Both have suffered traumatic experiences before their adventures began (Finn being separated from his parents as a baby and Lucas mother getting killed by a Drago during an attack from the pig masked army). Both travel with dogs that helped them from the very beginning of their journeys (Jake and Boney). Both are also accompanied by a pink haired princess along the way (Princess bubblegum and Kumatora). Both are skilled with their huge arsenal's (that includes magic and Mystical weapon's). Both want to search for a family member they were separated from. (finns Father Martin and his mother Minerva and Lucas twin brother Claus). Both put their lives at stake to save the ones they care about most Even though they started off as average boys their will to help others made them hero's of their worlds
