i have finally finished all the embroidery squares for the queen sized quilt im working on for a friend. I can finally start cutting out the other pieces and begin putting the quilt together. Next up are the "gunnerflies" 3 panels of those in three different sizes, although i may need to get more red thread for that....): it thought the stuff i order was alot more then what i actually got. Oh well, I'll jus have to stop by my fave store or get it on Amazon. This is technically a commission, but is also a gift, because theyre going to be helping out my husband to fix the car. I will be doing quilting commissions but most likely not this size. I've been told one's, like the one i've got planned out, came go for 800 or more dollars o_O so far the fabric an everythings around 100 for this. But there's alot of time an effort that go into making these kinds of quilts. I will however, be making lil wall tapestry type quilts, but I'll need to find out how much they cost to make along with the time to make em depending on the size.
