Tired eyes and helpless smilesare all i see.
There are no longer sparkles in their eyes
waiting for new possibilities to arise,
it's almost as if they have given up.
They look right through you with these sad eyes,
almost like you were the cause of their demise.
These four walls have become acustom to their faces
and they have come to depend on them
knowing that the past is unerasable
and the future they had hoped for is unattainable
because a cloud of guilt will hangover their shoulders forever
it's all downhill from here
and the path to rightouness has become so clear
and as they plan their deaths, and pick out there last meal
life on death row has suddenly lost it's appeal.
