There was always something about walking that really opened my mind to epiphany.
I didn't really need any set destination, I just went where my thoughts led me
and where my feet took me.
Eventually, I ended up somewhere.
So, let's take a walk, and find the answers in our steps.
Let's let the wind tell us where to go next.
Let's walk for miles until we've seen all we can see.
My only question is, will you walk with me?
Will you walk beside me into the unknown?
Because I've discovered that it's not really worth it to walk alone.
The obstacles seem bigger when you face them on your own.
The silence can get too much as well;
So could you walk with me and talk with me?
Because I know we both have so much to tell.
And if you're with me, could you hold my hand?
Because maybe time will move a little slower
if you hold me there with you.
That way we can take time to enjoy the view.
Walking too fast is more like running from your past.
And I'm not quick to forget;
I prefer to make my moments last.
And if we get cold, could we hold each other tight?
Because it's only natural to stay warm on a cold winter's night.
