Actually, it is more than one reason. It is because she belives that she would get in trouble for doing something like her brothers do, so she thinks they should too. Also, she is afraid that they or someone else could be harmed by their contraptions and tries to bust her brothers for protection. The latter is half the reason she wants to bust her brothers.
