First time since 2011 I understood, that I can write this guys names under the pics x)You can google them if you're interested, at least half of them have wikipedia articles I think 8)
For last 5 (...almost 6 ) years this project became so big, that i can't even ;__;Β

Batu's look truly lives up to his name's definition of 'firm'; he looks like a rather stern ruler.
Why did you draw Ghenghis' hair red though? Was that a design choice? Or was there some historical documentation on it?

Jochids are not very famous in Europe yeap 8( Plus Batu's biography is very vague, a lot of sources about him are lost or were destroyed and etc. So he is a kinda misterious person in a lot of moments.

Everytime I see your artwork I love it more and more.
Your painting and drawing skills are awesome. I'm always stunned by the way you shape the charas, and how much personality and love you put on them.
In the first days when I discovered your deviant I watched the pics with no more purpose than enjoying them, but from some time ago I really want to know about the story behind every work.

Learn something new every day, thank you!Β I find it interesting the story behind Yesui and Yesugen.Β I get the idea behind Genghis Khan having multiple wives, political marriages and bring different tribes together, so it seems kinda strange to marry two sisters.Β And not just for show either, as per Wikipedia they both ruled over their own areas, Yesui the Tuul River and Yesugen Khangai Mountains.Β Yesui even accompanied Genghis on a campaign and ruled for him when he was sick.Β There must be an interesting story there.

Your comics is the main reason why I bought a book about Mongol Empire but I still get lost when trying to pin down the name to the person. Except for Temujin xD

I read somewhere once that Genghis Khan had red hair, apparently Mongols can have that which I never knew. I don't know if it's true that Genghis did though, are these people supposed to have had red hair too or are you just taking artistic license?Β

Mm officially it's a Genghis' family legend, but it could happen in real life for many reasons. Like -Β journals.plos.org/plosone/artiβ¦
And red head people on this pic are Genghis children. But all this is just my vision, I always loved ''redhead'' version 8)
