I must admit I was fan of WITCH, but...when They got rid of Phobs (the 1st season more or less) it turned quite...boring. And Cornelia and Will turned so stupid >_>

The first 10 comic where good after that it all went to hell. So this serves as a reminder to the good old days.

Actually, the first arc was only good up to the 6th issue(though issue 1-6 are the best of the entire series). After that the original writing team was thrown out, and the new team completely went against what was established- you know, like Phobos being the kind of villain who wouldn't even show himself who weren't worthy(and was far more demoinic in his portrayal), or Elyon just suddenly going all angry in 7 despite clearly being on Cedric's side in 6.
The first arc was a mess due to this, and the second arc was much better- the new team could now establish everything beforehand, and plan out the story.
Arc 3 was also better than Arc 1. As was Arc 4. Arc 5 was far better written, but had a worse concept. Arc 6(The Ragorlang Saga) is where the story started to weaken. It didn't go to hell until Arc 7(New Power/Dark Mother Saga), where massive plotholes started to plop up everywhere.
Arc 8 was a mess, but after it, they dropped the arc system for an episodic style.

I know. My sister used to read them and the first one looked so good that I got caught by it for a while. Until everything went to hell of course, such a shame...
The biggest problem with those sort of comics (I think) is the fact that the artist envisions the story of the first chapter. Which of course he/she makes with a lot of love but ends up raping it because it turns into a success. And the fans and company he/she works for want more. People should just learn when to end a story rather then try and turn it into a franchise.

Yeah. I was in it from the start. I kept going to about some 30th-ish issue. Dunno why really. Guess I refused to believe it had changed. I really loved the comics. Gave them away last year to charity (except for the first twelve since they are in perfect condition) because I have no use for them.

sold all of them at a yard sale for 10 bucks (for the graphic novels) then 20 for the rest of the novels. :/ sad to see them go, but they just were't reading over and over and over again, esp. after the tenth.
Love this piece though. If the books were made with this quality, i would go back out and buy them hah.
