gosh... i really crave reading some eastern folk tales now... well, mostly russian and mongolian. there's something in the spirit of the stories that i have always liked. i end up feeling as if i'm standing in the endless steppes, swampy lands or dark forests that compose the northern parts of Asia, from Ural to Kamchatka - a severe place that has enchanted my soul since i was a little kid. this illustration reminds me of it.
