I'd really prefer if the toy is human.No profanity, no vore, and nothing fatal.
Use correct grammar, punctuation, and full sentences. No single word replies, please.
Keep your fetishes out of this.
If you wish to switch roles, I still expect you to provide a good opening comment, instead of just saying 'switch'
Choose either first or third person to write in, and stick to it. DON'T use second person.
No godmodding! (Taking over the roleplay) This includes no dictating what my character does.

Very slowly and carefully, Joe curled his fingers up around Dusty, lifting his hand off the cupboard as he did so. Then he lowered it to the shelf and opened it again, tipping the smaller boy off.

Dusty stumbled a bit when he was tipped off of the giant's hand, but managed to catch his balance, looking to the giant. "...ready for this?"

Joe nodded, returning the question. "Are you?"

He smiled weakly. "As ready as I'll ever be..."

Joe nodded, took a breath, and closed the door, locking Dusty in.

Dusty had taken a breath as well, and when the cupboard locked he found himself on his bathroom floor, groaning a bit as he sat up. "That was crazy..." He said, then noticed he had foamy toothpaste in his mouoth, spitting it in the sink. "Gross..."

Joe waited for a few seconds, and then when nothing seemed to happen, he opened the door again, looking in. The toy was back, and he picked it up.

The toy seemed to be standing in the same sort of way Dusty had been standing when the door had closed, but its hands had been reaching up to fix the hat again, which was slightly crooked, nothing like when Joe had FIRST put his toy in the cupboard

Joe looked at it, frowning just a little. "Weird... so, that's why he looked familiar... he looked like my toy!"

Dusty had rinsed out his mouth, happily in his world where everything was as normal as it could be, starting to head to bed, noticing Hunter was asleep on the floor next to his bed. He smiled softly, patting the large creature. "Good boy..." He said, lying down in his bed and sighing, then had a thought. Where was Joe? What exactly had happened? He still didn't know how he kept getting to Joe's world, or why he went there...

Now that Joe had made the connection, he thought about the 'dog' toy that had come in the same box as this one. Rooting through his collection of plastic toys, he finally found it and put both of the toys in the cupboard again, locking it once more and then putting his ear against the door and waiting.

Dusty had just been about to fall asleep when suddenly he found himself in a dark room again, sighing and smiling to know what that meant by now. "'Ey~!" He said, looking around the darkness. "If yer gonna bring meh here, don' leave meh in tha dark~" He said, then heard breathing near him, reaching out and feeling the familiarly soft fur of Hunter, blinking in surprise. Hunter was WITH him this time?

"Sorry," Joe said, already unlocking the door. "I wasn't sure how long it took to work." He swung the door open, looking in at the two of them. "Is that Hunter?" he asked.

Dusty smiled, fixing his hay as he petted his sleeping companion. "Ye'h...this is good ol' Hunter~"

"Good, I thought so," Joe said with a smile. "I think I figured it out. Do you remember the toy I mentioned earlier, that you swapped places with?"

He looked up at the 'giant' in confusion. "Ye'h, I remember...what about it?"

"Well... it turns out, it looks a lot like you. That's probably why I thought you looked so familiar before. So I went looking for a toy that looked like how you'd described Hunter, and locked him in the cupboard with you. And it worked."

Dusty thought a moment, then laughed. "Huh...what're the odds o' tha'~?" He asked, now relaxed with knowing this giant a little bit now compared to when they'd first seen each other

"Dunno," Joe said with a shrug. "Can I pet him?"

He nodded, smiling. "Sure can~ Jus' be gentle with 'im, okay~?"

Joe nodded with a smile, reaching carefully into the cupboard and stroking Hunter's back with his thumb.

Hunter snorted in his sleep, growling happily as his long, whip-like tail twitched

"What is he, exactly?" Joe asked, almost whispering.

Dusty blushed a bit. "Well...I don' really know...we...we've been tog'ther our whole lives..."

"Oh. Okay." Joe stroked the little fellow for a bit longer, and then withdrew his hand again. "So... what's yourΒ name?"

Dusty frowned a bit. "Didn't I tell ya earlier? Well, my name's Dusty...have I ev'r gotten yours?"

"No, we never exchanged names before," Joe said. "Pretty sure, anyway. I'm Joe."

Dusty smiled. "Well, nice to officially meetcha, Joe~"

Smiling back, Joe said, "Nice to meet you too," and extended his hand towards Dusty.

Dusty hesitated a moment, then smiled and placed his tiny hand on one of Joe's fingers, shaking it gently

Joe was very careful as he shook Dusty's hand, and then, still holding it so that the boy couldn't back away from him, he asked, "Can I pick you up again?"

Dusty snorted in amusement, smiling. "Don' see why not...ya already held me once..."

"Twice," Joe corrected, scooping Dusty up into his hands again. "I know, it's just... you got really mad at me the first time..."

Dusty blushed. "Because I wasn't expectin' it tha first time..."

"So, if I give you a warning..." Joe said thoughtfully, "you won't get mad?"

Dusty shrugged. "Don' see why I would...I'm calm aro'nd ya now..."

"Good," Joe said with a grin, lifting Dusty up toward his face to look at him again.

Dusty smiled, keeping still and calm as the now-familiar giant looked him over

"Are you human?" Joe asked suddenly. "Because other than your size, you look it."

Dusty blinked, surprised, then snorted. "Nah...not entir'ly human..."

"Partly, then?" Joe asked, looking confused.

He nodded. "Partly..."

"And the rest?"

Dusty sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "...that's jus' it...I don't KNOW all I am...I just know I ain't human..."

"Oh. Are you human sized where you're from?" Joe asked, lowering Dusty to the top of the cupboard again.

He nodded, looking up at Joe. "Sure am~ One o' the taller ones, too..."

"Well, you're not, here," Joe said. "I wonder if you shrank, or something else happened..."

Dusty snorted, amused. "Tell me somethin' I don' already know~" He said, then frowned. "And ye'h...how DID I get so small here...?"

Joe shrugged. "Beats me," he said. "Might have something to do with your toy lookalike, but I don't know how you got here in the first place, either."

He sighed. "Welp, this day ain't gettin' any more normal anytime soon~"
