Backstory: Zoey is the younger of a brother and sister duo, and her parents got divorced soon after she was born, so she never knew her father. But in some ways she's grateful for that from the things that her mother, Jamie, tells her about him. Zoey, along with her mother, and occasionally Jason would go out to walk around the borders of Water Gate town in the forest that surrounds it, and talk with each other and have family time together. Their lives were always fairly peaceful and carefree.

One day, when they took their usual strolls through the woods they found Kris who was shivering under a tree and a sniffling mess when they found him. Her mother decided to take him in so that Zoey would have a brother who was about as old as she was, which at the time was eight. Thus, it made a complete trio of inseparable siblings. As time went on though, and she noticed Kris wasn't really comfortable with his new family, she was confused, and eventually when her and Kris were alone together she asked him why he was so down.

At first he didn't answer...but after awhile of her begging to know why he was so down he finally gave in and told his side of the story as best as he could. As Zoey listened she began to feel sorry for him. After he had finished his story and had begun to cry, she comforted him and said to him, "That will never happen again as long as you're with us...Mom and Brother will make sure of that!" And since that moment they've become closer than even Zoey was towards her biological brother.

Years later, her and Kris still remain in a very close sibling like relationship towards each other, which in her mother's words could last an entire life time. Even if they aren't truly related to each other at all. And so after the events involving Oshiro and Excalibur (including a near fatal injury), she went with her adoptive brother to continue supporting him.

Personality: A Fun loving girl who's not too judgemental of others around her. Willing to help her Friends If they're having personal troubles. Has a love for adventure,
which she keeps to herself.

Trivia:

- Her father abused her when she was little and nearly drowned her, but was stopped by her mother and was saved. But this is why she has a fear of being imersed. A friend has offer to help her overcome it though.

- Unlike most Vulpix who have higher Special Defense hers is lower in favor of her having higher Special attack. (Stats are not referred to what they are in the games and are not tangible resources in this universe.)

- When she met Kris, she only had 4 tails. The rest have since grown in.

- She wears a flower on her ear as a gift from Leila the Alolan Vulpix. She also was given a similar one to plant.
