THIS IS AMAZING! I....WOWO!
^the extra O was intentional to show the emotion i am feeling
I love the way you can see the movement as being so complete. The intricacy of the blade, her clothes and the fantastic expression. This looks like what SHOULD have been on the cover of Irene Radford's books.

I LOVE the character design and the background. the green tone colors are really beautiful.
will the colors be a bit more accentuated as a book cover? bit more dark might help the character pop out more... don't know why it seems so. maybe it's just me wanting to see more darkness in this piece... I don't know where to look at the village behind or at Liu RuShi, was it your intention?
annnnyway - I LOVE it! there are no bad points just proposals!!!

are the books you make these illustrations for translated into English? The covers you've shown us so far are fantastic, better than your previous work and show very interesting people.

I like how it seems to be a picture of two halves. You have the courtesan at the front and then a suggestion of her home (or life) in the distance. However, the green tone over the whole picture helps to keep the foreground and background as one. Great technique as always and I love the brushwork they you do.

Beauty is unbearable, drives us to despair, offering us for a minute the glimpse of an eternity that we should like to stretch out over the whole of time.
