Here's the official ref of my Sonic.EXE OC, Cyrus.

Here's his Backstory:

When Cyrus was a kid, he didn’t have a good childhood. His mother was emotionally abusive towards him for no reason. Except, he has Fire Powers. Specifically Fire Attacks, Fire & Explosion Manipulation, Fire Arrows, Fire Flight, Fire Defense, Fire Ball Projection. His mother would constantly scold him for learning how to control his powers, and accidentally set things on fire.

His father would take him to an empty desert area to learn how to use his abilities, and how to control them. He supported Cyrus because he also has those powers, but stopped using his powers because the unknown entities stopped trying to take over, and he and the other heroes don’t feel the need to continue anymore because of that. So now that Cyrus has his powers, He shall learn to control and use his powers if they come back.

He was given some gloves so that he can keep his hands from using his powers unintentionally. When he was 15, He was playing with his powers with his father, he accidentally burned himself on the chest, and on the arm. His father ran to Cyrus and wrapped his chest with some bandages. As for his arm, he ran out of the bandages to cover his arm, but he thought that it was a good sign because when he got a burn on his arm, it’s a sign of power. A reminder that no matter how bad things get, you always have to stay strong. It’s ok to talk about it, it’s just a part of getting over it. And to this day, He still has that burn, along with the burns on his chest.

He still wears the gloves as an adult, because they remind him of his father. And when he died, his soul still wandered around the earth. But now he has a new home with a few portals. That is where he met Xennix and SparkleDust when he went through their portal. He’s very shy when it comes to meeting new people, and Xennix managed to catch it quickly, while Sparkle asked what his name was. Cyrus quietly says his name, and Sparkle overheard his shy mumble.

He managed to get along with the duo pretty quickly and Cyrus told Xennix everything while Sparkle was away. Xennix hugged him and comforted him. He also told Sparkle about the whole thing too, Sparkle gave him some encouragement and comfort by patting his head like he’s a cat. Cyrus was embarrassed but glad he had them. Later, Xennix taught him how to use Time Travel and Levitation. After a few trial and error, He managed to control those powers with his fire abilities. But now after all those years, and some trauma evolving his powers, Cyrus decided not to use his fire powers for any other reason. He’ll only use them when it is necessary, or when he feels like he’s being threatened.

A month later, He found a cat in the portal realm and brought it home. When he took care of it, it hopped on his arm and almost slipped, and its paws cut his skin. He washed his arm to ease the bleeding and so any infections don’t transfer in his body, then he wrapped it up with a bandage. It was just an accident and he could tell the cat was shocked by what it did. He still loves the cat and decided to keep it. The cat’s name is Lucy.

There are still a lot more EXEs out there that he doesn’t know about. Hopefully he can make more friends here and be happy.
