WTF! Featured on Eqd! I did not see that one coming, I have no idea how that happened, but thank you to whoever made that happen! Also, Thanks Equestria daily![link] i thought I would link it anyway, even though most of you came through it to get here.
Anyway, I have re uploaded the file due to it being ungodly huge! A smaller and much more manageable version of the comic was created by Which I can't thank him enough for, He also rearranged the panels to make easier to read (or something) The massive version can still be found here though [link]
And thanks to for letting me use his wonderbolts seal for the letter. (I edited it rather a lot, but he still made the thing)
If you decide to comment, try not to break your question mark key.
Also, I just realised, if I added up all the layers for each panel, as though I did it all as one image, I would have 698 layers (Seriously). Artrage would commit suicide.
Feedback is welcome! Feel free to use it for whatever (If you really want) I wouldn't worry about asking.

Not an intentional one, its just that the only thing I remember about equestria's economy, is that 2 bits is enough to buy a cherry. I have no idea how many cherries a performance by the wonderbolts is worth, but I am guessing its [A LOT]. But if you want it to be a monkey island reference, then yes it is a monkey island reference.

You could have just said it was intended, and that would have made your comic a little bit more variated in terms of humor, just like the show. And the reply quite dissapointed me, i know what you ment, just trying to make your comic include some references.

Fair enough, although I stand by my decision to be honest about what is and is not a reference, mainly because I have never played monkey island, so if I got called on it, I would be screwed. Next comic (4 page 33 panel behemoth) should have some references in it. They are rather obscure though.

The real answer however is that I wrote the comic backwards, starting with a weird picture I drew of a rainbow cactus (Panel 16) Then the rest of the stuff was added.

Thanks! I intend to, but I may try a different style, mainly because I haven't really tried many styles and so I don't really know what I'm best at and enjoy the most. I have to admit thought, this style (whatever it is) Is rather tedious, just because it requires the airbrush tool, and I use artrage. Anyone who has tried that on a 3200x3200 image using %150 brush size should understand.

Well, yes and no, It really depends on what you want from an art tool. Its meant to be a drawing and painting simulator (Or something) so there isn't all the editing stuff you would get in something like photoshop or gimp, (There isn't even a gradient tool) its just stuff like (Pencil, pen, airbrush, you know, stuff you can use irl. Its hard to say if it will be good for you, but my best advice would be to download the studio pro demo of their website, and see if you like it. Be warned though, I will say that the only reason I use it, is because I am used to it, and it has a very simple UI. (Also, gimp hates my tablet) I wish I could say more, but Yeah, just get the demo and try it. Hope that helps.

Because when you mention it, they do both involve pot plants (Of sorts) Expressing a dislike for a ridiculous situation which is apparently not an isolated incident.
Although this wasn't intentional, the similarities are rather prominent.
