see what I don't like about it is that she seems to be trapped out of her control, when really a model chooses to be a model, they choose the life style, they could turn back at any moment ... so it's kind of contradictory to truth, but the photo is all serious and nothing funny about it ... so I don't see any irony to it ...

This photo is interesting. I like how she is in a box. I like it because it kind of represents how I feel sometimes and how others feel. I mean it looks like this photo is made to represent that type of sadness. Like the type of sadness when someone feels as if they have been enclosed in a small place and how they feel locked up in a small place with no way out,no freedom,and no happiness.

I just had to say more in this occasion:
the model here must take all the credit, really, with out her the photo would
fall apart. not to take value from the photographer (you), but you must know
what i mean. sometimes we are just an instrument for the "click". your timing
and sense of composition is priceless, but the force and tension brought by the
models expression and the positioning of her feet and hands is what makes up
this photograph.
