Description

A retouch of Cyb3rdvsk , because it was one of those art pieces where the concept was good, but there was something about the image that always bothered me - specifically the fact that the edge lines were brightly colored but the softglow was just a boring grey-white. The color (or lack thereof) of the glow clashed with the color of the edge lines, and the image just looked like a gross mush. So I went and edited it using GIMP's Select By Color feature to select different regions of color, then expanding and feathering the selections to include the softglow, then colorizing the selections using a color that approximately matched that of the edge lines.

Now the image is a lot more visually impressive and stunning - something that you can truly gaze upon in awe at the dazzling interplay of color and light. This is the image that Cyb3rdvsk was truly meant to be. I'm quite proud of my work here and I consider this version of Cyb3rdvsk to be one of my greatest artistic accomplishments. I know my habit of metaphorically fellating myself might be annoying at times, but there are occasions where I create images of such sublime beauty, I can't help but marvel at my own creative genius.
