FN-2199 is the First Order stormtrooper from " Star Wars The Force Awakens " that refers to Finn as a traitor ( TR-8R ) and tries to take him out with his electro riot baton until Han Solo blows him to KINGDOM COME *GONG!!!!*. For some reason there's a MEEEEEEEEME about this guy. Nerds think he goes by the name " Nines " but I disagree since it seems to me that the First Order stormtroopers would be sticklers to rules & codes & conduct & doctrine & such to the point that I don't really see them being all Nickname McGees like the Clone Troopers were back in the days of The Clone Wars. That's just me but I think I'm right.

I see your point about the nicknames. Maybe he was good friends with Finn. He was probably a cool guy except for his intense loyalty to a misguided cause. Maybe Finn called him that? Just playing Emperor's advocate. I have no idea, hadn't even considered it before seeing this gorgeous rendition.

I sorta changed my view on the First Order nicknames a bit. I guess they may do that since Finn wasn't really all that out of touch when he was with his new friends. I dunno why they'd call him Nines though. He only has two nines in his number. Clone Trooper 5555 was all " Fives ".

I've never seen any of the memes. They do make him. I think he's just called a riot gear stormtrooper or something. There's a 6" version that comes with Poe for some reason. It's a Target exclusive for some reason. I've thought about picking that set up as it doesn't sell too fast. Matt would be cool.
