I dunno how this came about. Kinda just popped into my head when I was doodling for ideas. Yeah... that's it. Anyhoo, we've got the Fraggle 5ive again; Boober, Gobo, Red, Wembley & Mokey.I think Red might be wondering " What's love got to do, got to do with it?" There's a good chance she's wondering that anyway.... cuz... you can see it in her hairstyle. Ya know... cuz she's all Tina Turner. Well, Fraggle Rock did take place in the mid 80s. A fraggle hasta be hip to the latest hair configurations? Right ? Right? Who's with me? Anyone? Back me up now! " He's just a raggedy man! Bust a deal, face the Wheel! "
Umm... what else.... well, Gobo is wearing a hat. I like his knit hats best. I usually prefer him hatless though. I tried to make this hat similar to the one he wears when it's cold in the Rock. Also, Gobo's an amazing guitar player! One wouldn't believe the sounds he can achieve with just a pick and two strings! Incredible! Red's gonna kill him though. That was another great thing about Fraggle Rock, Red actually threatened to kill people.... and she actually said " kill ". At least she did once, after Boober stuffed a pillow in her mouth. Ah the innocence of youth... when you could threaten to kill some one and not be expelled, arrested or deported. * swoons *
Boober fears that his laundry's gonna get soiled. Mokey sees the pretty cave flies. Wembley doesn't like to see his friends fight.
I'll have to do a pic some day that gives Wembley the spotlight.

I think you captured perfectly not only the designs of the Fraggles (they truly look like their Muppet selves) but also the design of Fraggle Rock itself. I really love and appreciate the background work, the detail on the color, the stalactites, Boober's laundry line in the background. It's a treat to find fanart this good and faithful. And I love the fact that you have Gobo wearing one of his signature hats. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful job with the colours, shading and highlights here! It's neat how you've used such great mix of colours but still given it a very united feel.

There was one episode I remember in the TV show where Gobo gets captured or somethin and the rest of the 5 go "Well there's only one thing we can do... sing about it." I always thought it was cool that the show never took itself to seriously, even made fun of itself sometimes.
Off topic, whenever I hear Gobo and his lil guitar I think of James Taylor for some odd reason.
