Here's Rahzar of " Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, The Secret of the Ooze " fame after he's realized that Shredder is in fact, " not da mama " and Vanilla Ice doesn't taste good. I dunno what his pal Tokka is up to... yet. ( This version is mostly based off of the 2 action figures I have of him ).Related content

I've been thinking about those figures lately. I think I have them all. While in theory, the April one is neat but the final product was kinda meh. I'd hafta check Shredder & Splinter again but the foot soldier was kinda neat. So were bebop & Rocksteady.

Rocksteady and Bebop work pretty well, since they are essentially big goon body types, though they botched the skin color on Bebop's human form. The Foot Soldier works nice without getting too bulking. Splinter and Shredder are a little too bulky and their stiff legs give the figures a wooden statue appearance. But April's super bulking human and mutant forms look least convincing, very similar to overly buff appearance of the old transforming Power Rangers figures, I think. They tried to offset the awkwardness by giving April a decorative backpack, but the shoulders just look humongous.
I don't really know what they could have done different for her design, but there was at least concept art for a regular Catwoman from Channel Six April figure a couple of years earlier. I think that one would have been pretty cool in production. I guess they wanted to hold off on the design though:

Oh yeah. Bebop was the wrong skin color. Yeah, that kinda bugged me.
Neat. It's cool to see unproduced stuff. I wonder if the Ninja News Reporter April was originally supposed to be Juntarra from the Mighty Mutanimals.
