Beetlejuice has always been a major influence on me, my life and my style and preferences ever since I was very very veeeery (probably too young to be showing a kid this movie) young, so it’s fitting for Thrax and Phyre to dress up as the most memorable characters from the franchise as a whole.

I know the whole Beej and Lydia ship was toxic af in the movie BUT this is more of a tribute to the franchise, including the TV show where the two were best friends with a level of romantic tension going on randomly throughout. Plus, obviously these two of adults and in this case, just dressing up for tribute 😌

ps. I tried my gosh-diddly-darnedest to do it in a style that fits beetlejuice/tim Burton as a whole without going like full out nightmare before Christmas/corpse bride style like the previous Tim Burton Thrax was. Like, I thought about it but I felt like beetlejuice deserved it’s own sort of high contrast neon colored and angular style comparatively
