Now, behold for the rise of the Union of Southamerican Sovereign Republics USSR for short.

The good thing is that with the current megatrend of integration of Latinamerican peoples, and the growing discontent towards the abusive neighbor in the north (Santa Claus, of course, he didn't brought me the socks I needed) this might be possible in a few short years.

UNASUR is already a reality! A single flag, a single union a single people, and with the coolest flag desing ever!
Then Brazil, Argentina and many other Latinamerican countries are pushing for the creation of a NATO style military alliance, to counter the threat of the dangerous IV Fleet of the US Navy, to protect our peoples and our abundant natural resources.

Now, in the near future, the Mercosur, the Andean Union, the Central American Common market, Mexico and then UNASUR, joined efforts to make a supranational and unbreakable union of free born republics. With an European Union style parliament, government and presidency.

Each republic in the USSR can preside the Union, by a full year, just like the EU, then another republic is selected to preside.

The Union has four official capital cities: Buenos Aires, Quito, Brasilia and San Luis Potosi.

It has four official languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French and Dutch. Other native languages are protected by the law and officially preserved.

The Southamerican parliament is bicameral, a House of Senators (five senators for each Republic) and a House of Diputados, (proportionally representing the population of each Republic) The parliament stablishes laws regarding common foreign policy, constituency, defense initiatives, market, trade, energy, environment and free passage of people.

Each Republic is sovereign in the issues in their respective territory, the penal laws previously held in each country are respected, a single money has been stablished, the Peso Real, accoined and backed in gold and silver. No visa and no passport are required for citizens of the Union when traveling between countries of the Union (free-transit) Both private and public education are encouraged. A common Army and anthem is stablished too, along with the traditional anthem of each constituent republic. The national flag of each republic, when possible, must be accompained by the flag of the Union of Southamerican Sovereing Republics.

The citizens of the USSR have granted the right to live, freedom, free-speech, freedom of association and transit, right to respect and be respected, freedom of religion and free education up to high school level. Additional rights and obligations may vary from republic to republic, but in the end, a consensus and common law ground is looked for.
