In the tie-in comics for the show. In the mainstream comics he's married to Linda Park

This is super cute~! But wow this comment section needs to chill. Team Cyborg or not, perhaps comment on the art than being ship picky?

In which comics did they get together? New 52? I personally like Wally and Artemis from Young Justice, and Cyborg and Jynx from Teen Titans, but this is fairly cute, too.

The tie-in comics for the show. In the mainstream comics Wally's been taken for over a decade.

I thought Jynx was into Cyborg in that show? There are many hints to it, but I haven't entirely finished it, so there are some things that I don't know.

Haven't read too many of the comics, either, sadly. I like his relationship with Artemis in Young Justice, and that's unfortunately all I know in terms of his overall relationship status. Is Linda a human or another Meta like Wally?

EliBurrySchnepp In reply to Iggy-1-55-306 [2017-02-15 00:47:10 +0000 UTC]
Human, but she's also Wally's "anchor", her bond with him is what keeps him from disappearing into the Speed Force.

Iggy-1-55-306 In reply to EliBurrySchnepp [2017-02-15 00:49:27 +0000 UTC]
I thought that that wasn't possible. He could get trapped in it temporarily, as has before in the comics, but he couldn't disappear into it. Is that wrong, or am I misunderstanding you?

EliBurrySchnepp In reply to Iggy-1-55-306 [2017-02-15 01:01:57 +0000 UTC]
So long as he has a "lightning rod" like Linda, he can't be, but if he doesnt have a bond like that it's entirely possible.

Yeah.... I think I was misunderstanding you.
What you're saying is that, if he doesn't have an anchor, he very well could enter the speed force and never return? Or that he somehow gets absorbed into it, thus ceasing to be?
π: 0 β©: 1
EliBurrySchnepp In reply to Iggy-1-55-306 [2017-02-15 01:43:57 +0000 UTC]
Both. If he is trapped in the Speed Force for too long (as almost happened in Rebirth #1) he would be absorbed into it

Iggy-1-55-306 In reply to EliBurrySchnepp [2017-02-15 01:49:20 +0000 UTC]
He was trapped in the speed force for a really long time at one point, if memory serves, until he somehow managed to become as fast as Flash and slingshot himself into a parallel earth where his powers disappeared entirely before slowly returning. Is that a thing that is still canon?

It's complicated. Really complicated. Essentially, yes and no. That incarnation of Wally is still canon, but the universe around him was rebooted by Doctor Manhattan during Flashpoint.Β

Can even the quasi-infinitely powerful Superman fight him? His only real weakness is negative radiation

Not Superman, but there are beings in DC who probably could. Death of the Endless, the Spectre, maybe even Darkseid at his full power. Manhattan was unstoppable because he was the only being remotely close to that power level in his universe.Β

Never the true Darkseid. The true Darkseid, as far as Im aware, has appeared only during Final Crisis, and while it was Superman that did the final blow, it was hardly a solo act. Every other appearance was an avatar, a small fraction of Darkseid's power.

I thought that Superboy Prime, who is a clone and only half as strong as True Superman as a result, almost killed Darkseid on Apokalyps during the Infinity Crisis? Isn't Apokalyps the planet where Darkseid is from?
My knowledge of the DC Universe is severely limited because of the Infinity Crisis.

EliBurrySchnepp In reply to Iggy-1-55-306 [2017-02-15 07:49:44 +0000 UTC]
Superboy Prime is actually MORE powerful than Superman, due to possessing the powers of Silver-Age Superman, who was more powerful than modern Superman. You're thinking of the normal Superboy, who is a bit less powerful (though more versatile) than Superman, due to being a half-human clone.Β
And like I said, that was an avatar of Darkseid. Most of Darkseid's essence was still trapped in the Source Wall during Infinite Crisis, so he wasn't anywhere close to full power.Β

How is Superboy Prime more powerful than True Superman? I don't think Infinity (or at the very least quasi-infinity) trumps itself, if what you're saying is true in regards to Superboy Prime compared to normal Superboy.
It's been really fun to discuss this passion with you! I've learned a couple things that I've been kinda iffy on, and that's always great!

The modern incarnation of the true Superman is not infinitely powerful. You're thinking of his Silver-Age (60s and 70s) incarnation, which are the powers that Prime possesses. Thankfully, Prime is an idiot, which means he can be dealt with, and he shares Superman's weaknesses.

Iggy-1-55-306 In reply to EliBurrySchnepp [2017-02-15 08:08:21 +0000 UTC]
The thing about quasi-infinity is that, while infinite, it's limited. Infinity itself is actually a paradox. Superman may not have infinite power, but he does have infinite strength, speed, and durability, which simultaneously gives and does not give him infinite power. Were it not for negative radiation and meta-physical magic, he would actually be unstoppable. So, when I said "infinite" power, I didn't actually mean infinitely infinite, I just meant divided infinity. Which is an oxymoron. Just clarifying.
Regardless, it's still been fun to discuss with you!
