Description The Grey Wolf (Canis Lupus)

This picture was taken in a national park in the northern part of Sweden, With a Nikon D700 and a Nikon 400mm lens F2,8 and a Nikon TC-17E II teleconverter.

The Alpha male and female did not show any signs of being afraid of me , This picture was taken max 25 meter from me and they just stood and looked me right in the eyes i accentually stop taking pictures to look at them it was very intense.. Even do i know wolves are no dangerous its very your hart is raising when you are this close to to big wolves

I love this picture Pali! I gotta say it would look better if the alpha female's features were sharpened though. You can see almost every little detail in the male, but the female looks a little blurred.

Thank you !! i would to but i had a very shallow DOF F4.5 and the female on the right is almost a meter behind the wolf and that's why its so blurry :/

Ah! The only reason I think it would improve the picture's quality is because it's centered on both wolves, and as such they should be equally brought out. But nature is nature and you can't get the wolves to stand precisely as you'd like.
