Wow I finally finished a reference! *A* Due to a poll, I did Bro first~ I never knew he was so... cute... >////>" LOL Special thanks to Silent-Songs (who was the first one who lined the main ref for me) and wtfamidrawing ! (who lined and colored the main ref; ffff didn't expect both of you guys to LOL)Edit: Oh I forgot to add that he has two different crowns: A formal on and a casual one. The formal one has the blue bar below it and the casual one doesn't.

Bro is a laid back, sweet, but very lonely and lazy jelly king. He rules over a rather peaceful kingdom though he never really does all his duties. This is because he comes from a lineage of extremely lazy jelly-haired people. Most of the time he is sleeping, lounging, watching TV, or just wondering his mansion/palace.
★★History★★
Bro's parents were a part of a line of jelly-haired royalty. Having such a rare trait of having berry-flavored jelly hair, strawberry-lemonade to be exact, put him next in line to rule over the kingdom.
At first his mother wanted to name him Guy and his father Dude (they were too lazy to think of a decent name). Eventually they agreed with Bro, and he hasn't changed it since.
As a kid, other kids envied his hair and his cool temperament, so a lot of the time they would pull his hair and bully him. He never cared to fight back...After a while, his parents thought it would be best to keep him inside and home school him (aka: hire tutors/personal teachers for him). Even with this, he still had issues talking to anyone not on his royal staff. Being crowned king didn't help him get out anymore either.

I haven't made a decent comment in ages ;w; This picture more than deserves one though. So I shall put more thought into it. Even though this is more spontaneous. Well, a spontaneous wanting to write something more than "SSSDKHNDCIUNDVRH"
Might I begin with congratulations. Once again you have seem to more than surpass yourself. This reference sheet in particular; the setup, creativity, examples and all show how much you have grown artistically and creative wise. It is just so exciting to see not only another piece of your outstanding work. But your growth.
It probably sounds off topic to discuss it. But really. It wasn't too long ago I went through your entire gallery. When I look at where you begin to this. I am more than impressed. I think this is what hits me the most.
This has got to be not only my favorite but the best reference sheet I have seen. It shows more than enough detail both visually and literature wise. I am more than impressed! Along with the organization, the use of different styles. This gives the viewer a great feel to Bro's design and character that you have given/added to him. If I was the other Pie I would be more than proud. Showing this just tops the cake with how amazing of an owner/artist you can be.
The colors. Bro's color palette is my favorite as well (Wow. Lots of faves xD) He is the reason I want some type of orange character. The way you balanced all the colors in such a way not to blind, but bind our understanding and love together with this ref makes this very special. It takes talent to utilize these colors in a fashionable enough way to not turn off others. This simply draws me more and more into this. I just can't take my eyes off of this. This just makes excellent eye candy overall.
I did not respond to your inspiration poll. But I must say. You are truly more than that. If I had Martin and my tablet. You bet Kae's underwear I would kick it into gear. I haven't been able to produce any work. Today after seeing so many people progress. And now this. I just cannot wait to get back into swing. I'm almost shaking in excitement. Bro demonstrated here makes me want to do the same and bring my characters to life like this. I finally feel the drive to draw and I thank you for that.

Only the pancakes xD Heaven knows when he will learn to cook them. At least he can dream about it. This raises my curiosity and makes me want to know even more. I can't wait for not only the Mentor Monday you will hold next to ask more questions. But the future refs to come!
