Behind this artwork lies a deeper personal story. Recently, I've been grappling with burnout and the anxiety it brings. Additionally, pain in my hand has led me to medication that has somewhat clouded my mind. During somber moments, reflecting on global events, notably the horrors of the conflict in Ukraine, this piece was born. It mirrors my sentiments about the world, and especially about one devilish figure's indifference to civilian suffering. The piece contrasts innocence and cruelty, embodied by the image of a Ukrainian child, signifying hope, yet marred by suffering, as symbolized by the bleeding wound from the malevolent figure above. The artwork speaks of the undeniable spirit of resilience in the face of adversity, while highlighting the poignant reality many endure.

I created this artwork using artificial intelligence to generate multiple images. I then meticulously combined and edited them using Photoshop to achieve the final piece.
