Description
I figured it would be best not leave you wonderful people hanging and reveal all that I have completed for the Sonic & Eggman/Wile E. & Road Runner crossover since starting it's production almost one year ago. (Yeah, I can hardly believe a year's gone by as well!)Unfortunately, that's not much, but you DO get to see a brand new segment of the cartoon not revealed to anyone yet, along with the previous segment I showed before synced with sound. With college taking it's toll on my free time, I'm starting to think I may have to abandon more long-term projects like this due to a lack of time on my part, but this has been an extremely cool project just to see how much my animation style has evolved over time...
Enjoy!

I'm afraid not, they don't allow crossovers in the Sonic Shorts collections anymore. This would be instead it's own collection of material.

Good animation and timing. It's a good thing you had them as they are, not trying to get some recembalance (long foreign word) to the originals.
Keep 'em coming.

Funny thing is, staying true to the originals was something I got "dinged" on whenever I put out Ask Dr. Stupid (another Sonic crossover animation I made in April). According to what I figured, there wasn't enough truly unique about it: it was just the main character swapped out for Sonic, and nothing else.
In here, I figured it would be good to put some things in that only the Sonic franchise could do, aka the Rings Robotnik/Eggman dumped on the bridge instead of bird seed. It helps with adding a unique twist to the gag everyone already knows the answer to that's seen the original, and I think it adds to the humor too.

Well, I'm happy to hear you loved the animation so much!
I'm a pretty big fan myself of Wile E. and Sonic (which I guess was pretty obvious since I made this, lol), so this is slowly becoming a dream come true for myself as well.

Good old childhood favorites coming together in a hilarious crossover. The ring trap was my favorite one, but I was laughing at all of them. Great job-- keep it up! Canβt wait to see the finished product.

Haha this is an awesome homage to Chuck Jones' Roadrunner & Coyote cartoon shorts. (As well as the Sonic the Hedgehog series, wich needs more love lately.)
Can't wait to see the finished product. So far it's pretty entertaining even if it isn't finished.

Well, I had to swap out the bird seed in the original cartoon for something that a certain blue hedgehog would go after... (and no, chili dogs don't count )
Anyway, happy to hear you liked the animation so much!

Question. How are you able to piece together the "Clips"? Someday I hope to do that.

Piggybank12 In reply to spongefox [2011-10-09 11:33:18 +0000 UTC]
I've been using a function in Flash called "Scenes" for that. It allows me to easily split a Flash movie up in segments, and they also bridge together seamlessly in the final film. They also make for an easy way to do a Scene Selection if you wanted something like that in the menu and were handy with ActionScript.
To pull up the window for Scenes, look in Window up at the top of the screen in Flash. I don't know where it would be in whatever version of Flash you have, but it should be somewhere among the "panels" section in the sub-menu.
Hope this helps!
