coat description: Dense and short, being a sort of mustardy pastel yellow with a light cream heart on her chest.
eye shape/color: Coated with heavy dark makeup her eyes droop with eye-bags, yet the bright golden glow they bestow never fade.
accessories: A yellow scarf on top of a purple-ish cape drooping over her shoulders.

cutie mark: A jar of fireflies with torch-bugs flying around it as well.
special talent: While she's good at taxidermy, it's not what truly makes her happy. Her favorite hobby is to take jars outside when it's dark and warm, and catch fireflies just to watch them fly out of the jar once more. She finds it silly but it truly makes her happy as a pony.

personality: Bay Bug when you first meet her is cold and quiet, rather emotionless really. As she was raised to believe that emotions make one look weak or pathetic. Once you get to know her though she's actually really sweet, still emotionless- but she'll open up and be honest with you about her opinions and inside feelings. Quite blunt at times, and doesn't consider people's feelings.

positive traits: Independent, confident, though the rest of her personality is quite bland- making people not like talking to her very much. Her voice doesn't help either, being a deep monotone voice that could be soothing to some.

negative traits: Bitchy, cold and bluntly honest, she has a way of pissing off people without even trying, or making them uncomfortable when she just wants to be their friend. She has a dark sense of humor, though she tries her best to make other people happy with lighter jokes that she hates telling, in reality she just wants to appease them and be their friend.

history: When Bay Bug was a filly, she was raised in a quiet barn near the edge of Oldtown, she'd catch fireflies almost every night when the weather allowed it (hints her cutie mark), it's where she still lives to this day, unfortunately without the presence of her parents who've both passed away three years prior when she was sixteen. During her childhood she was the odd one out in most cases, never going out social events (mostly because her parents didn't let her because it would 'let her guard down') So he grew up partially scared of crowds or annoyed with them since she didn't want to let down her parents by making friends and becoming vulnerable. When her mother passed away that was that start of her long process of chipping away her personality to become numb to the public's views. Months later when her father died that's when she shut down completely (both parents dying from old age, they had her when they were rather old) locking all the doors to her brain and heart so she was nothing but a sheet of coldness and honesty. Though two years of just doing that can make anyone stir-crazy, she began to crave affection and attention, anything to fill the void in her heart after her parents died. But alas, no one yet has tried to help her rebuild herself and start a new.
To take her mind off of things she resorted to a rather..odd habit. Taxidermy.
