I honestly wish this would’ve happened in the canon game. but hey I can dream can’t I?(Pun Intended)

I personally believe that Ree was being mind-controlled by 'you-know-who' mostly because he had the potential to rebel against his creator much like his twin before him despite his 'Unyielding Loyalty' to his master(although I highly believe that it was fear rather then devotion that kept him tethered to his 'Master').

So with the help of their human companions, NiGHTS managed to free Reala from the spell 'He-who-shall-not-be-named' had put him through. He had no memory past his previous confrontation with his twin and Elliot(one of his favorite victims to torment before the boy became lucid).

He was genuinely confused to where he was at first. But as the gravity of the situation slowly sank in, he began to realize that NiGHTS was right about his 'Master’s intentions. Hesitant, shaky, and a little afraid, he agrees to side with them and the two Nightmare Jesters reconcile with each other.

Despite my conflicting feelings towards the red jester. I think he deserves a chance at redemption, forgiveness and some well deserved Peace, and TLC after all the countless years of abuse he endured.

A puppet on strings he is no longer.
