Hey guys! It's been many moons since I've posted new artwork here!I've been mega busy designing stuff for my webshop www.PolkadotCute.com. I sell all of my cute illustrations as charms, zipper pouches, pillows, plush toys, jewelry, stationary and more. Just recently I added two new art prints which included a trio of Darumanekos!
Darumas are hallow Japanese dolls that symbolize perseverance. Each doll is sold with blank eyes so once you have a goal in mind you fill in just one of the eyes and then when the goal is completed you fill in the other eye. They are popular gifts one would give to student. I think they are really cute! I actually bought one from Goodwill, but I haven't used mine yet. It's mostly for decoration!
The kitty ears are just because it was cute!
This is available in my online shop as an 11x17 print. If you're going to Anime USA I will also be selling 11 x 17 prints of this as well!
