I actually started this piece maybe 2 years ago? It was sometime after Lillie was introduced and we learned more about her character. Back then I was using a laptop and Cintiq drawing tablet to make work, but because I travel often it was really annoying to bring both my laptop and cord AND my Cintiq and cord. I stopped bringing them altogether, but it made keeping up with digital work really hard. When I came back from traveling I didn't feel like working on this anymore and it sat dormant in computer until last week when I said "LET'S FINISH IT" Instead of it becoming a "Hello Sun and Moon" piece it's becoming more of a "Good Bye Sun and Moon" piece as we look toward Pokemon Sword and Shield. I'm not one to do a lot of fan art so this was a fun thing to do for myself.

I'll miss Lillie! She's became my favorite Pokemon girl at first sight. I know many people dislike her, but she was a Pokegirl with a lot of character development and that's something a lot of characters in Pokemon don't have. I was upset with her role in the anime, but I liked her getting her own Pokemon. I could go on and on...

I had a hard time choosing what to do with this background, but decided to just keep it simple and post it already.
