Description
'Cos there's no school like old school, when it comes to monster slaying. Unfortunately, swimming all the way from 11th century Scandinavia gets you in half-dozen pages too late. This idea was sparked by some bright cookie in comments to the Monster Hunter arc - sing out for credit. I accidentally deleted a backlog of comments I meant to respond to.
You might notice that, fatally, Sarah has developed some minor resistance to Distracted by the Bulge pants dangly bitsSexy and just about masters the art of maintaining eye contact against all odds.
And I've just realized this is the THIRD time poor Sarah has been exposed to Full Frontal Male Nudity, and none of it has been Jareth's. SulkingGlowering material for His Nibs indeed.
and this is a hurried and a silly one because I am le busy again.

...and my crazy brain just linked to the next comic. Is it simply a coincidence that Uncle Phil arrives after Beowulf? Could a certain mysterious government agency be trying to recruit or at least track an(other) ancient, epic hero?
Jareth's going to be doubly-peeved that he's missed this!

Honestly, a lot of the comics at the moment are one-shots due to various giggling fits of inspiration. I'm trying to keep chara developement consistent along the way, but until a proper story arc picks up again don't go assuming too much about my hidden plans. Your explanation is interesting, but Coulson showing up when he did has more to do with Ashe starting what looks like an Avengers crossover-arc in 'Roommates' and the whole hype-of-the-moment thing.

Hype-of-the-moment makes sense, too.
And it's not as though you've been busy, moving and flat-hunting or anything...
I'm still curious as to whether or not Jareth took Sarah's advice, and is Underground instituting the new national holiday.

11th century? That is old school?
No, not in my book
Camelot is 6th century and Arthur took down more monsters than Beowulf and he did it while remaining noble and true.
I do really like your style though and your humor is very well done.
Keep making great art

Couldn't stop laughing when I first read this. Stil laughing retreading it. Even the censer works in the humor ^_^still curious about what's under it though... Always frustrates me when movie makers have no problem with front shot of laud parts then they hide male parts with low angles and bad lighting.

I'm just waiting for Link to appear. He's slayed some rather nasty monsters/mad men/his own possessed love interest/god knows what else. Although I doubt he'd stay long as he seems to have a tendency to be chased by swarms of random chickens. And there are indeed swarms of random chickens lurking nearby.

He can stick around for a while as far as I'm concerned. Sarah's powers of concentration are indeed impressive.
And Oh my god! I just finished reading this entire comic!! (took me three days due to RL). Look forward to the next one.

Oh god no, I don't want to have caught up! Now I have to wait for updates like normal people!
I've read them all, not just the ones with Az and Crowley with them now, and my, absolutely amazing.
(You've been neglecting narrator!Legolas lately though, that makes me sad. Although you're probably doing it right - the joke won't work unless it's unexpected. I defer to your judgement.)
Love Christine's "do not want", heh. >D

Oh lord. Suppose the next monsters to come around were the ones from Amnesia: the dark descent video game.
On the other hand, I think a certain few would just easily over power those monsters.

Though the readership got an eyeful, that wasn't quite such a disturbing, sudden full-frontal for her - I'm not even sure Sarah did any of the peeking that time, and that being deliberate, drunk, and from a ceiling's distance...
Although, you are not wrong.
And in the summing up, I am now oddly proud of how many nekkid men have been figured or implied in-comic, because that sort of reverse objectification was absolutely not a deliberate goal - I know I draw the girls skimpily dressed every so often, but I am really just now tallying up my score on the other gender.

Hmmm... although... possibly Jareth might think that Sarah saw Javert's truncheon. Because you know that he and Erik would have heard something of the story. Hmmm...
So, you mean that wasn't a goal when you started the comic? Keep it up!
