I started etch a sketching a few days ago and this is what happened. I've always been interested in fantasy-oriented environments, and decided to invent a quasi-aquatic prehistoric kind of scenery. I estimate this took about 3 hours.No references were used, and no sketching or conceptualizing was done beforehand. I started with one thing and kept building upon it until I felt it was complete.
EDIT (7-28-12): I'm so thankful for being awarded a daily deviation for this piece. It was a labor of love, and my favorite thing I've done all summer.

i did click the link before i commented. but the point is that they made the art so any fame they get is of their own accord. you're just part of the audience that shared it.

I apologize for my blatant snarkiness.
But I cannot stress that I was speaking about a specific group of which it would not have been seen on without my help. I was not saying that all the fame was from me. It was simply a flattering way of saying "Hey look! I posted your art on Reddit and it was awesome!"

This is amazing! It makes me imagine bouncing from mushroom to mushroom to get around. I love how you made most of the shapes round, it give it a nice modern look. And, not to mention, you did this on an etch a sketch! Wow! You really deserve the DD
