Description However,
If what they say is true
That all great artists
Of canvas and of papyrus
Will always die alone
Wallowing in a hole they dug
Of their brilliance and self-pity
With nothing left but their art
Then these will be the last words I write

For despite my aspirations of Hemmingway
My dreams lie elsewhere
For I have goals for which I'd abandon my prose
For you,
My muse
I'd throw my inkwell into the vast oceans
Where the waves can record with the tides
What happened to my quill and page

So I call this insurance in case my fears are realized
I pick my words carefully
I write without a language
Because words without meaning
Is life without you
