Description Mr. Potter bought a bumper sticker on his way home from his job,
Which had sucked him dry,
At the corner gas station down Edmonton St.
That gave profits to fight a disease
That he didn't have,
Nor could he even pronounce.

He stuck it onto a rusted car in the parking lot
To cover a hole that was wearing through the trunk
Caused by years of abuse
From sitting in the unforgiving Madison weather
In between jobs,
And homes,
And wives.

The sun had long ago set,
And Mr. Potter began his voyage home
In his rusted car
Carrying his rusted dreams.
