Before Lilly even hatched, she belong to a Pokemon Breeder, who eventually gave her away to a trainer. When she hatched, she was very happy and ready to see the new world. However, it wasn’t what she seemed. Her new trainer abused and trained her day and night. Lilly became exhausted within a week, and soon she realized she was going to evolve sooner.
One night, Lilly snuck into her trainer’s bag and grabbed an Everstone to stop her from evolving. She wasn’t ready to evolve, she wanted to stay a Buizel longer and live her life. When her trainer found out that she disobeyed him and stole from him, he literally kicked her off his team and left her to suffer and die. Lilly, still young, had no idea to survive the wilds. Despite being high leveled, she was frighten by the territorial Pokemon around her.
Eventually, she collapsed near a pond where she was found by water Pokemon. They adopted her and trained her. After a few years, Lilly finally decided to leave, when she hit her teen years. It was a loving good-bye and the Pokemon wished her luck on her journey. Lilly traveled through Sinnoh, hoping not to be caught again. But instead she runs into a small pack of Houndours. On Houndour had a spiked-collar around his neck and challenged Lilly to a battle before she could continue. Lilly accepted and won, which was surprising to her. The Houndours let her continue. After a few days, Lilly felt like she was being followed, which she was. She was being followed by the very Houndour that challenged her. Derrick, the Houndour introduced himself, was very impressed by her and asked if her could travel with her. Lilly was skeptical, but accepted. After a few years, she grew feelings for him and they became mates. And soon, they encountered a weaken Pikachu on their journey, named Sparkle. Not even hesitating Lilly jumped in and nursed her back to health. Lilly decided to let Sparkle join them, or more like demanded Sparkle to join them. Lilly was worried that Sparkle couldn’t handle being on her own after what had happened to her previously. So Sparkle accepted and they continued on their journey. Where eventually Stara and Midnight joined and after more four years they reached back to Sparkle’s home.
