Description

Sparkle walked slowly behind her friends. Lilly, the Buizel, Derrick, the Houndour, were up in the lead talking, or more like competitively arguing about the next stop they would make. Stara, the Espeon, and Midnight, the Shiny Umbreon, were talking quietly to each other about something, Sparkle wasn’t really interested in what they were talking about. They been walking in Hoenn for a few days, so far they were in Petalburg Woods. Just arriving the day before. It reminded Sparkle about her old home in Kanto. In Viridian Forest. Sparkle shook her head from the thoughts. She couldn’t be sad now. She’d been so miserable since she lost her trainer two years before. When they arrived in Hoenn she promised herself to move on. She had to move on, it was over. And she was doing well this past year. And she wasn’t going to bring that back up again.

Something rustled behind her, and she stopped. Looking behind her, she saw nothing. She knew there was some bug Pokemon around, but they were up in the trees eating away at the leaves and it wasn’t chewing she heard. She heard the others talking among themselves. She flicked her ears, and blinked and continued on.

“Hello, there” A voice sounded behind her and she froze.

She turned her head quickly, seeing a lightly colored Pikachu, with his tip of his ears that looked like they were bitten off, even half of the tip of his tail looked bitten off. What happened to this guy? Sparkle thought. She didn’t say a word to him, she was a bit confused that a random Pikachu just started talking to her out of the blue. However, he then spoke again.

“What’s a lovely Pikachu like you wondering around in a forest like today?” He asked, and Sparkle flinched at the compliment. “Trainers usually walk through the forest this time of the day. Wouldn’t want a human catching an innocent Pikachu like yourself.”

“Uh…Um….I…I…j..just…Um….” Sparkle couldn’t really say a word. Her heart began pounding. She never felt this nervous before.

“Sparkle!!!!” Sparkle perked up at the sound of Stara’s voice.

She turned and the Espeon was running towards her, her orb glowing on her forehead.

“Sparkle, you shouldn’t be talking to strange Pokemon!” Stara folded her ears back and crouched behind Sparkle, wrapping her tail around Sparkle. She was staring at the Pikachu with fear and concern.

“Now that’s a bit rude.” The Pikachu said calmly. “I was just having a nice conversation, worried about her safety, was all.”

Stara ignored the Pikachu, and started to walk away, keeping her tail on Sparkle to pull her away. “Come, Sparkle, let’s go. We’re lagging behind the others.”

Sparkle couldn’t help, but look back at the Pikachu.

“The names Leon.” The Pikachu smiled. “I hope to talk to you soon!”

Sparkle blinked, and began walking slowly, as Stara kept tugging her away. Sparkle couldn’t help but think about Leon’s concern about her. She looked back towards where she was walking. With Stara around, she’d probably never see that Pikachu again. However, in some weird way, she hope she would see him again.

Well, finally I get started on this little mini comic. I had something completed long ago, in like 10-11th grade, but sadly due to story changes in 2 and swapping of some Pokemon, it had to be redone. Plus I lost all the images as well. So I had to redo them all. Plus....they were really old anyway. I needed to update them I'm not really sure how long this is going to be. I hope to keep it around 10 parts, and it will be a One Panel Comic as well.
I'm trying to become better with my Grammar, ok!
I suck with writing, even though I make comics
Idk how often I'll update this, but I think Sparkle needs some more love. I feel everyone is all about Isaac, when he's not even the main character here. I mean, I dont hate Isaac or anything, I'm just surprised with his popularity.
Plus with Chapter 3 being next, I need to show why she acts the way she does around a certain someone.......
So this is just explaining some things and showing Leon and Cristal and how Eevly came.

*Also Eevly's Egg is going to be included, this story is also going to explain why Eevly is so close to Sparkle. Even though Stara and Midnight adopted her and are currently raising her. Funny enough, Eevly prefers to be around Sparkle than her "parents". Which as said, this story will explain why.
