Another Gideon! Can't hide it anymore i guess, he is my favorite from GF.This is what happens when you mix almost no sleep... with the night... too much tea... And zombie like habbits.
At least i didn't even realize i was drawing till i was almost finished with it xD
Though something pretty funny happened, that was actually what woke me up totally from the "trance"
I was listening to music while drawing, but my brain wasn't there really.... till suddenly music stopped and Gideons voice came out from my computer. I GAVE SUCH A JUMP!! .... Till i realized it was Gideons Widdle Ol Me song... that starts with him talking xD
THAT WAS KINDA CREEPY. The drawing talking to me xD WTF.
I quickly was back on planet earth >>

You're welcome. I do like this character a lot too because he's very manipulative but in a very child like way that it actually works. In most cartoons where there's a child villain that is very one dimensional (in my opinion). There's always this certain episode where they want this certain thing and thats that, but not with Gideon. Even though he wants Mabel he always wanted the mystery shack before he met her which makes the audience of gravity falls curious and gives him depth in his character. But the biggest mystery I want to know about him is what did he do to his own mother?

Your text explains it all ^^ It is true, all other kid villains are one dimensional, while Gideon has a very developed personality and highly inteligence.
It's a character that gives one different opinions while watching the show, dislike at first, to later become interested in him and his goals.
Also in his own family, as you say.
Im also interested to know a little bit more of how he got the second book and all that... And when started his fight with Stan.
And... how it all started with him as a psycho... if it was after getting the book or already before that.
There is a lot id like to know that i dont think we will get to see.
