can you recommend a cheap one that's reliable? tablets i mean. Any recommendations, if I'm working on a mac?

I would never get anything other than a Wacom, personally, and the cheapest Wacom is the same one I got, the Bamboo Pen: [link]

You're not going to find a decent tablet/screen combination for less than $900 or so, sadly.
Otherwise I would have one.

It's just the cheapest Bamboo model. Better than the old one, though, I love the surface texture.

Really? Some people dislike the texture because it wears their nibs off quickly O:

To me it feels more like paper; it's less "slippery" and I can make more precise strokes.
It does wear the nib down quicker but I've set it to a setting where I don't have to press very hard and we'll see how long it lasts.

Ooohh yeah, that would make sense. I started off with a tablet with surface tension, then got an intuos 2, so its a bit backwards for me. ahaha~ XD I always found that my wrist would tire easily with the old tablet, but then again, I didnt have the power to change it's sensitivity XD;;
I do hope it lasts long though! Considering you draw everyday, hurhur. XD
