Coat: His fur, course in texture, is fairly long, consisting of shades of browns and tints of orange. His cheek fur is long and hangs around his face, while his neck fur is thick and shaggy.
Build: Morpheus is a large wolf with thick, bulky legs that aren't much good when it comes to running quickly or long distances. He usually carries himself in a bit of a slouched way, ears erect, and tail down.
Scars: Two scars on his left cheek from an encounter with a grizzly bear | Scars throughout his body due to a coyote attack (hidden under fur)

{ Personality }

Cautious: After a foolish encounter with a bear when he was a little younger, he is a lot more careful when it comes to doing stuff, especially if they seem dangerous in any way. This trait applies to other emotions as well.
Self-punishing: Wracked with guilt, Morpheus tends to punish himself deeply for any wrong doings.
Compassionate: While he tries to seem aloof, his caring nature seems to get the best of him most times. He doesn't like to see other's struggle.
Introverted: Not wanting to form too close of bonds, he's formed a bit of an introverted nature. He prefers not to socialize too much, though he is capable and not all together unwilling.
Courageous: When he's sure of something, he isn't usually one to back down too easily unless he know it's for the best. He wants to do his pack proud and live up to his Warrior title.
Irritable: He can get easily-annoyed at times, leaving him to become a bit grumpy. He's never unkind without reason though, unless they deserve it.

{ Before the Winter Storm }

Birth:
-Morpheus was born to a small pack that was usually in a state of disarray. With a constantly changing alpha, the pack eventually disbanded, leaving most of the wolves alone and in search of a new place to call home. Without a mate to help her out, living a life without a pack put a lot of stress upon Morpheus' mother. Unable to leave her children, she stayed with her litter until they were old enough to travel.

Puppyhood:
Now old enough to move on his own, Morpheus, his sister, and his mother eventually left their old pack's land in search of a better place to live. Living alone had put a hard toll upon their mother and they had to stop more than usual for her to rest. Soon, the move ended up being too harsh for their mother and they had to halt their travels completely. Luckily, they encountered a friendly male who helped them get back on their feet. He provided food and shelter for them, but Morpheus' mother never fully recovered. She eventually passed away, leaving her children in the care of the male wolf.

Young Adult:
With a new found sense of the harsh realities of nature, the death of his mother affected him greatly. He soon distanced himself from his only living kin and spent more time with the male wolf who helped raise them. The wolf had taught the two young wolves how to hunt and eventually care for themselves; Soon, it wasn't long until the siblings went their separate ways.

Adult/How He Joined Amoria:
Living life on his own ended up being a bit harder than he had expected, but with hard work and perseverance he eventually got the hang of it. Being stronger than his mother had been, he was able to prosper on his own quite well, but the toll of being alone soon overcame him. He sought out companionship and eventually found it in a pretty she-wolf named Gia. Being young and in love, it didn't take long for the two wolves to hit it off. Their plans to have a life together never got to pan out, however. Being a bit foolish, they tried to defend their kill from a grizzly. The bear, obviously stronger, took a swipe at Gia, breaking her back. Morpheus, in desperation to save her, flung himself at the bear who flung him to the side. With blood dripping down his face, he had to admit defeat. With shaking legs, he dragged Gia away to safety. Sensing the wolves' submission, the bear let them go.

Now paralyzed, Gia did not live more than three days. Morpheus had tried to care for her the best he could, but when his attempts ended up being futile, he never forgave himself.

Alone once more, and having lost two important beings in his life, he promised to never let himself get too close to another wolf again. Tired of living life as a rogue, he came across a land and eventually a pack named Amoria. Promising to be of use, Morpheus threw himself into pack life, pushing away his past life into a small corner of his mind to never be delved into again.
