Bio
  Amelia was born to William Miles and his wife on June 27, 1999 in the Black Hills Assassins Compound in South Dakota, USA. Though she didn't know him for long, she did get along well with her elder brother, Desmond Miles, even though he was over ten years her senior as one of the reasons he nearly put off running away was because of her. When he ran away, her parents decided to not push her to be an assassin as much as they did Desmond, as that was one of the main reasons he ran away. She still learned about the creed and their history, as well as how to fight and sneak around.
  In 2012, the compound is attacked and Amelia is kidnapped after she gets separated from her parents in the confusion. She is taken to an Abstergo Industries Laboratory in Italy to be used as incentive for Desmond to cooperate. In order to show that they weren't bluffing about hurting or killing her, they used a knife to give her a cut on her cheek that turned into a scar, though they did allow her to hang around Desmond when he wasn't in the Animus. If Desmond eventually succumbed as many other subjects did before, they planned on her being the next subject.
  During her time there, she would slowly open up to Desmond as they were originally pretty awkward around each other, with Amelia barely remembering him and holding a grudge since he ran away, and Desmond finding it difficult to come to terms with how she wasn't the same small child anymore and how his running away affected her and their parents. She escapes with him and Lucy and meets up with Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane, and helps them whenever she can, all the while growing closer to her brother. When he falls into a coma after Juno uses his body to kill Lucy, she contacts their father and they meet in New York as he reawakens while Shaun stays in Italy to attend Lucy's funeral.
While William is out to find the third power source and Desmond is in the Animus, she is helping with researching when she learns of her father's capture. Knowing the fate of the world rested on Desmond finding the key for the Grand Temple, she decides to go out to try to rescue him, but it ultimately captured and used as bait alongside him with Abstergo deciding that if Desmond didn't show up to exchange the apple or to save them within the next 48 hours, then she would be used in his place in their Animus to find the key for them. Using the apple to have the guards kill Vidic and then themselves, Desmond rescues them and they return to their team.
When Desmond decides to give his life to release Juno and save the planet, Amelia tries to dissuade him to no avail, and reluctantly lets him go, going into hiding with the others for the next six months. Her father decides to go on a delf-imposed exile and she stays with Shaun and Rebecca to help them attempt to contact her mother and find Desmond's body, not knowing Abstergo recovered it and his belongings until an analyst sent the data to them. With that, her father returned in 2014 but remained distant. She continues to be trained as an assassin.
In Syndicate, Amelia is with Shaun and Rebecca and is taking a more active role in missions.
Odyssey sees Amelia return as a part of Layla's cell as a full-fledged assassin, guarding the warehouse they and Victoria were hiding out in since Layla would be out of commission as she used the animus to see the Misthios's memories. However, when the group does find Atlantis, Amelia is called away to assist another nearby cell. She is not around when Victoria is killed, but seems to be sympathetic towards Layla who had killed her when under control of an Isu artifact, remembering how Desmond had killed Lucy due to Juno and the Apple.
In Valhalla, Amelia is shown with Shaun and Rebecca as they and Layla investigate Eivor's memories. She mainly spends her time patrolling the edge of the cabin's property and hanging around the cabin. As the world seems to be coming to an end the second time, Amelia's found herself listening to recordings of Desmond from back in 2012, and mentions to Layla that the situations makes her feel helpless again. She couldn't do anything but watch and wait then, and she can't do anything but that now. She's frustrated and seems to be on the verge of becoming a cynic. She also talks to Layla about what happened in 2012 when asked, mentioning how if she could go back in time, she would've tried to find Desmond sooner before Abstergo did, even if she had only been a kid at the time. She doesn't trust Basim when he offers his help to the Assassins after Layla stays in the Grey, and sticks around the cabin while he uses the animus and Shaun and Rebecca leave to talk to their Mentor. The two don't converse much, though as he's reading Shaun's books on Norse Mythology, he notes she keeps looking at him as if he'll attack at any moment.
