[Episode 16: Ace Detective 2018]

Arriving in 2013, the duo of Mirai and Akira travel to Fuuto, where they seek out the Narumi Detective Agency. Upon walking in, they take notice of how Daisuke seems to be the only person in the building. He greets them, and after a moment, finally turns to them, telling them he can't take any new cases at the moment thanks to a certain case taking priority. He refuses to elaborate any further until Mirai calls him Ace. Asking how she knows about his Rider form, she reveals her Driver and Ridewatch to him.

Seeing that he was in the presence of fellow Riders, Daisuke reveals that Another Ace had been going around, hunting down people and branding them with a number somewhere on their burned bodies. The others were out of the city, so he's been left alone to deal with this himself. Mirai and Akira offer their help, but Daisuke declines, telling them that this is his problem. He gets a call telling him that Another Ace has appeared again, and he runs off, grabbing his gear.

Mirai and Akira follow him, and come upon him fighting the Another, who claims those who have sinned should burn. Daisuke transforms, but is quickly beaten by the imposter. Mirai transforms, and Akira readies his belt as well, before a blast of flame knocks it out of his hand, and toward Daisuke. Daisuke pulls out a Ridewatch bearing his own helmet's face on it, and takes the Ziku Driver before him. Seeing how Mirai transformed, he activates the Ace Ridewatch, and places it into the Ziku Driver, transforming into Kamen Rider Ace (Ziku Driver Ver.). Together, the two Riders beat back the Another, who retreats. Not long after, the Ziku Driver on his waist beeps, and forcefully ejects itself and the Watch from Daisuke. Mirai picks up the Ace Ridewatch, turning to Daisuke.

"We're helping you, and that's final... And it's gonna take using this to beat him."
