So here's the story:
After Rebbeca had just injured her paw, she had yelped in pain so loud that her parents came immediately .
Zuri: Oh my God, Rebbeca! Are you okay? Spike, we need to call the hospital, now!
Spike: Okay, you call, I'll stay to help Rebbeca
Rebecca didn't want her parents to worry for her, they've already done so much for her. And plus, their helicopter parents, they'll never let her live this down, they'll restrict her curfew even more. Rebbeca didn't want that, she's a teenager, she want to hang out with her friends and take advantage of her freedom.
Rebbeca: I'll be okay guys, it's nothing but a small scratch really
Spike and Zuri obviously didn't listen to her.
Spike: You call that "a little scratch?!?" Don't play around with this Reb-
Zuri: Okay, the ambulance is coming as fast as they can, what happened to you sweetheart?
Rebbeca: I'm fine mom, I can take care of myself, I don't want you worrying about me!
Zuri: We worry about you because we love you, Rebbeca. Please, just let us do our jobs as parents, why do you keep closing us out? Are we bad parents?
Spike: (gasps) No, don't be ridiculous Zuri-
Rebbeca interrupted: No, of course not! I love you guys, it's just that, it's too much sometimes.
Spike and Zuri: Too much?
Rebbeca: I know you guys want to protect me, and I love you for that, but I need to make mistakes, I need to learn how to defend myself. How can I grow if you guys don't let me?
Zuri: Oh sweetie, Spike, maybe we have been to hard on her.
Spike: Are you serious? Just look at her arm! How can you just be okay with this?
Zuri looked at Spike unknowingly
Zuri: Look, the ambulance is here, let's finish this conversation later.
