Name: ShadowPuppet

Occupation: Filly Teacher

Species: Bat pony

Cutie Mark: Moon and clouds with a pony silhouette

Fur: Dark Grey

Eyes: light Blue

Mane: Black, Silver, white, and Blue

Likes: to see kids smile and loves to entertain them in any way she can starting from puppets to mini plays. She loves to read, and tries to spend time with the ponies she knows.

As a filly she was adopted into a home of regular ponies, growing up she had trouble making friends and spending time with others. So usually she would occupy herself with a book, they would make a different world for her and she enjoyed that no pony would judge her. one day her parents grew concern they didn't want their little filly growing up alone. they sent her to filly school even though she didn't really need it, since she was already well educated thanks to all the reading she does.

when at filly school like everypony else the fillies judged her on her first day, they were whispering about how different she was, and were making fun of her species. One pony was saying,"She must be a vampire, she will drink our blood if we get near her." and eveypony gestured away from her as far they could without getting out of their seat. Shadow was so embarrassed and a little uneasy. but when the teacher came in everypony sat up and shut their muzzles up. the teacher, Miss Cheerilee, was very pretty for her middle age, she wore a bandana around her neck and she has the most kindest face. Seeing her, made Shadow feel a little bit better.

"Now GabbyGossip thats no way to treat some pony else!" The pony named GabbyGossip was shock she proclaimed, "But Miss Cheerileee, she's not even a...."

"Not another word!" Miss Cheerilee glared at the young filly then turned to the board. Shadow was astonished, she has never seen any pony stick up for her before.

At recess, ShadowPuppet went to a quiet place and settled down. she reached into her saddle bag and got her favorite book out, Tale of the Two Sisters, published by Princess Twilight Sparkle herself. Quietly engaged in her book, shadow didn't notice that somepony was near by.

Miss Cheerilee stood over her," Um Sweetie."

"ahhh!" shadow was so shock she sat up. she looked up,"Oh, hi Miss Cheerilee"

"Hello Dear, Sorry to frighten you, what are u doing all the way over here?"

Shadow looked back down at her book,"Well if u hadn't noticed i'm not exactly...normal"

she looked back up and saw a look of confusion on Cheerilee's face, "Well no I haven't noticed, you look as normal as the next filly that walks into my class room." Shadow didn't believe her "Sweetie listen, your parents talked to me, and well, they want you to make some friends, I know that must be hard for you, but you should try."

Shadow shook her head,"Why should I?" Cheerilee smiled,"Well friendship is a powerful magic, I learned that from some friends of mine."

"who?"

"hehehe, Well from Princess Twilight and her friends."

"Wow! Really?"

"Yes, she taught me through thick and thin friend will have your back, have u read her other book?"

"No."

"Well here" Cheerilee gave the filly a book called, Friendship is Magic," it's a copy of the journal she and her friends wrote, about their struggle as friends, and their victories."

"Wow, I can have it?"

"Of course, Swettie.....as long as you make at least one friend." she winked at shadow.

shadow's smile suddenly faded, "I knew there was a catch!" Cheerilee giggled, " Well I have a filly in mind, she is also a fan of Princess twilight's work, Come lets go meet her."

ShadowPuppet put both of the books into her saddle bag, She got up and went after her teacher.

While everyone was out playing, Cheerilee and Shadow went back to the class room. inside Shadow saw a filly about her age still at her desk. with her magic she holding a pencil, and was focused on something on her desk. Shadow looked up at her teacher, and Cheerilee just smiled,"ShadowPuppet I'd like u to meet Pitterpaint." Shadow looked back at he filly, who acted like she didnt hear Miss Cheerilee even speak.

"Pitter come over here for a bit would ya?"

the filly stopped what she was doing and trotted over," Pitter this is ShadowPuppet, and she's new to this school, she's a big fan of Princess Twilight too!"

PitterPaint looked at Shadow,"Really?"

Shadow didn't want to talk,"well....I...I.." Pitter's face suddenly turned into a bright small,"That's Awesome! Wait..." pitter took a step back and look at Shadow form top to bottom, "Hmmm...."

shadow was starting to feel uncomfortable and a bit flustered, "What are you looking at!?"

Pitter shook her head,"Wha.. Oh sorry, my artistic side gets the best of me at times, I was wondering can I draw a portrait of you?"

Now shadow was definitely confused. she looked up at Miss Cheerilee. her teacher smile,"Well I have to check on the rest of my students, bye girls."

Shadow watch as her teacher abandon her with this pony, who wanted to draw a silly picture to make fun of her. Probably to show to the class, then Miss Cheerileee wont be able to stick up for Shadow.

"Well.."

Shadow looked back at Pitter,"Oh... um.. I guess, knock yourself out!" Pitter smiled and ran back at her desk, "Come and see!" Shadow rolled her eyes and followed the pony and looked at her desk, on it was a beautiful drawn picture of a Herself. She looked a Pitter in awe," You drew this, with only color pencils!"

"Well yeah that's all that Miss Cheerilee has here, do you like it? I sorry, when I saw you...well

you were the first bat pony I've seen and I just had to draw a pic of you, I mean you're so pretty and exotic, and I should of asked but..." Shadow hugged the filly, she couldn't help the tears, "thank you so much"
