Name: Tangara.

Name Origin: Comes from "Sekitangara" the Japanese word for "Cinder".

Location: Yoguzan Volcano and other mountain areas on the island.

Social and Behaviour: Tangaras are very respectful animals. They are actually able to speak to wolves, though their "wolf speech" is not as good. For example, when speaking to a wolf, instead of saying "Take the left path. It's less rocky and you won't stumble." they will say "Take left path. Less rocks, no stumble."
Tangaras are usually solitary and only come together for mating. They respect the Fire Wolves and will even share food with travellers if they ask nicely. They hunt small prey or baby animals. Larger prey is too much for a solitary Tangara.
