This is awesome. However, would you mind adding a shadow? I might use this, and my strategy for placing battle sprites is to place a sprite that has a shadow on top of a shadow that is already on the field, as the shadow doesn't move, even if a characters arms or legs do. This ensures that it is placed properly.
