Some features of this painting’s significance: red spider lily creeping out of Cloud’s head signifying the red string of fate tying both Cloud and Sephiroth together as well as causing tragedy in both their lives, a jumble of tangled black surrounding the petals to signify illness and stifled thoughts.

Sephiroth is melded with Jenova’s “true” form from Remake. He’s disintegrating into shadows, and glitching/tarring out. This is reflected in the glitch text surrounding him and in the glitched Sephiroth Kabbalah table and the surrounding clouds and spider webs that are also “glitching” and spiraling out.
