Hey everyone! Sorry for the long wait, but I spent over a month working on something BIG!
So, you guys know the Sonic 3 SMS Remake created by AshuraTheEchidna , right? Well, I played it a while back, and I was honestly impressed on what his small team of 3 was able to accomplish (way to go, MrSonicSMSSpriter and HidroGeniuns ! When I was going through the levels, I thought that the idea of the satges being based off the other stages from Sonic Drift 2 was GENIUS! However, what bothered me the most was the backgrounds and the tilesets. They seemed......off. But I get it! They're used as placeholders. So thats where I, the legendary PixelMarioXP, come to the rescue!
So what I have so far are the tilesets to the first 4 stages in the game! Emerald Beach Zone, Desert Road Zone, Ice Cap Zone, Dark Valley Zone, Rainy Savannah Zone, and Iron Ruin Zone! I took a good look at each background sprite from the Sonic Drift 2 sprite sheet, and turned them into ground tiles, backgrounds, clouds, and more!
And to keep in-line with the actual Master System, I made every stage have a 16-color palette limit, and every tileset being in 32x32 pixels. I worked really hard on this, and I was really excited for AshuraTheEchidna to see this, and update the game with these new tilesets!

UPDATE: And finally, the last zone of this game, the Death Egg, has finally been added. This stage has tubes, conveyor belts, flamethrower cutues and a electric zapper that sticks to walls. This stage also lets you go out into space, where the gravity gets reduced, allowing Sonic to jump higher and floatier.
The space background can apply to Milky Way Zone as well.

I’m so glad that you love it!
I dunno, when I was making this, I was just making tilesets out of sheer boredom, but then I went to play your game (Sonic 3 SMS), and then, an idea sparked in my head, and went back to my tilesets doodles, and decided to make it legit! Making tilesets for all 6 stages of the game, with brand new tiles! Of course, I only have the first 4 stages, but still working on the last 2.

Yeah! That’s how I designed it.
Unlike the Genesis games, where stuff like the springs and the rings are separate sprites, the Master System games uses a 32x32 tileset for every stage object, like the rings and springs, are considered background objects rather than separate sprites. I found this out through AspectEdit and a Sonic 2 SMS disassembly. Every level has a total of 255 tilesets.
