Sonya Blade has been stuck in the FRUGLIEST outfits for all of the MK series. MK3 gave her some good look but then the skip to 3D (shudder) and her outfits went back into granny mode. Now, don't get me wrong nor started on a different post and its topic of clothing but Sonya is up against Kitana, Mileena, Jade, if you played the Sub-Zero Mythologies Ria, Kia(or is that just my car?), and Sareena. These bitches know how to wrap their legs around a pole and SPIN, trust that. And here comes Sonya Blade in a giant puffy Michelin man suit? With Lei Mei strutting in a DOA bikini?! Are you ****ing kidding me? The outfits of Tanya, Kira, and again, Mileena and Kitana in Deception and Deadly Alliance span from slut-to the-butt to Molotov Cockteas-y. And here comes the Stay Puft Sonya Blade.

Anyway, until MkvsDC Sonya had only ONE good costume and that was the MK3 issue. Suddenly the ONLY Earth girl in the MK universe grew the stones to show off her tits while the rest of the women were already stuffing dollar bills AND skulls down their panties. When I saw BrunoCotic's revamp of a MKII swimsuit with a nod to Sonya's MK3 colorings I had to have it. This is a good amount of work for me to put into a costume that is laughably so “simplistic”. I ditched the Cammy White fist gauntlets and opted for the sexier non-taped fists because let's face it, Sonya's not going to war wearing this as her primary outfit. She's probably been caught during a training session. ...maybe that's why the doofy weighted gauntlets?
